ARRTC Advanced
ARRTC Advanced is a 1 1/2-day course that serves as an advanced forum of healthcare disaster community response information exchange and regional response partnership development. ARRTC Advanced is not a basic course and is designed for those who possess advanced, core knowledge of disaster response. Critical topics include Advanced Surge Capacity Management using AIMS, Healthcare Disaster Response Plan Development, and Perspective on Evacuation vs. Sheltering In Place. These topics will be presented in-depth, and attendees will be engaged in roundtable discussions and interactions designed to encourage group decision-making, planning and response. The end product is the development of best practices in disaster response that attendees can take back to their facilities for use in training. Ten (10) ARRTC Advanced sessions will be offered.
